When I was in 5th grade, having to grow up in a catholic school, I always wondered what will happen to the other people who aren’t Catholics, since Pope Innocent III one of the strongest Popes in the history of the Church said this..

“There is but one universal Church of the faithful, outside of which no one at all can be saved.”

So there I wondered, what would happen to the Non-Catholics? Why would God, a projected fair and loving God who created men in his image let 80% of the world’s population suffer for eternity in “Hell” just because of division of religions and sects?

What happens to the people born as a Muslim, raised as a Muslim and will die as a Muslim? What will happen to the people who wasn’t brought upon to the concept of Catholicism? Will they not be saved? That seems a bit unfair right? Why would God even let men break into many sects and religions if he was going to choose one sect that is going to be saved?

I came to this conclusion.. he didn’t. Man did it. It was all man’s ploy. It was all for the sake of control, all for the sake of supremacy.

Religion is an organization created by men to rule. Created by men to take control, created by men to mess with the minds of the people. To create fear, to create bonds, to make a universal system that will tie the people into a make believe organization that will “Help” you be saved.

That’s why I turned away from religion. That’s why I’d rather keep my relationship with the Lord on a personal level. We are all being lured into this organizational bullshit which imprisons our mind and forces it to believe that they are the way.

They’re not.

History 101: The Spaniards. How do you think did the Spanish took control of the Filipinos way back then? Simple answer.. Catholicism. “We are the way, we are the chosen people of God, therefore you should follow us or you will burn in hell”

That’s the reason why we were enslaved for 300 plus years. Because we were forced to believe that they are the people of the Lord and that if we disobey, we are all going to burn in hell.

Religion has been used as a means to an end countless times before. And unless we break away from it, we’re all going to be run by a system that is pure of bullshit. Would you want to run around in a circle of bullshit?

John 14:6: “Jesus answered: I am the way the truth and the life. No one comes to the father except through me”

  1. Well said, Tintoy. 😀

    I love this part:

“I came to this conclusion.. he didn’t. Man did it. It was all man’s ploy. It was all for the sake of control, all for the sake of supremacy.

  2. I am a Catholic since birth and have no plans of moving to other religions not because I believe that RCC is the “universal Church of the faithful” as mentioned above, but because I know that ONLY Jesus can save me. Not religion, not good works.

“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life”

“For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God. Not of works, lest any man should boast.”

“For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved”

Now if we’re going to talk about Jesus being the “Church”, then I could say that If you truly believe in Jesus and you accept Him as your Saviour, you are a member of His body, the Church. With that, it is perfectly true to say that there is no salvation outside the Church!

    • @Sir Saved by Grace:

On “If you truly believe in Jesus and you accept Him as your Saviour, you are a member of His body, the Church”

I am a follower of Christ, you can call me that. If you refer to the followers as a member of this abstract universal church then yes I am a member of that, better call it Christians. But you can’t go for specifics right after that. You can’t call it the Catholic Church, or the Protestant Church or the Jehovah’s Witness’ Church or whatever because by that, you are just repeating this cycle of organizational fascism that needs to be halted.

I truly believe that most religion, not only the Catholics, have teachings and doctrines that contradict the teachings in the holy book. That’s why I tend to stay away from it, as much as possible.

      • IKR that’s why I just mentioned Church, that pertains to Jesus and not those religions.

I heard a lot of INCs, Born Again Christians, Catholics, and other religions said that you will only be saved if you belong to their religion, and I agree with you, that needs to stop.

“Religion is an organization created by men to rule. Created by men to take control, created by men to mess with the minds of the people” You’re absolutely right! You may not agree with me but I think that some (if not all) of those so called religions are created by men to gain money as well.

And BTW, Christian AJ. it’s Ms. 🙂
